Mr. C Noble

One addendum to my previous post that I meant to add.

Hypothetically speaking, if we assume for a minute that:

1)HIV is the single cause of AIDS.

2)We develop an antiretroviral that rids the body of ALL HIV.

Where is the evidence that ridding the body of all the HIV will reverse the damage done to the immune system, thereby reclaiming a state of health for the patient?

IMO this is a huge assumption that remains to be proven. If old paradigms hold true i.e, agent invades body and causes disease, patient takes antimicrobial to rid body of agent, patients health is restored -- then it may work. But IMO that is an huge assumption that remains to be proven.
