Christopher Tyler completely fails to support his argument.

To put it more simply. Can he use a test for GSH levels to predict whether a random individual will progress to AIDS?

The answer is no. Really quite simple.

The control group showed a wide spread of GSH levels overlapping with the HIV infected group.

HIV tests do (except for a small percentage of long term non-progressors) predict progression to AIDS.
